Art Director/ Set Designer for Rolling Hills Covenant Church since 1997.
I am so blessed to work with a team of highly skilled craftsmen,
who have taught me so much in carpentry and construction. What
began as donated time drew into part time employment. Working
with a 40 ft. long by 18 ft. high by 17 ft. deep stage, our team
creates sets for christmas and children’s musicals.
I have also had the incredible opportunity to Art Direct an annual
living art production, “The Pageant of Our Lord”, a unique
presentation of the life of Christ through "living" reproductions of
famous works of art. This theatrical masterpiece includes life-sized
paintings and sculptures, utilizing live models within the art,
accompanied by original narration and the Rolling Hills Covenant Church sanctuary choir and orchestra. My role entails scaling the pieces of art, construction, sculpting, painting, casting, costumes, designing makeup, directing the lighting, and inspiring a crew of 150 plus volunteers to create a high quality outreach for the South Bay, LA community.
